Feiyu-Tech Pocket Camera+Gimbal Review

LIttle bit of a different video, but trying out new hardware to make my videos look better. Already have a gimbal for my DSLR, but was looking for something for quick shots that didn’t require setup.

The Arcade Guys Retro Plus Arcade Cabinet Review

When most people think about retro gaming, they think about gaming at home. Mega Drive, GameBoy, Playstation, Atari. While many great games were released there, for those with quarters in their pocket there was magic to be found in the Arcades. Yes, while many of these games eventually got ported to home systems, it’s hard to capture that Arcade experience at home… unless you have your own Arcade cabinet. Enter The Arcade Guys and their Retro Plus cabinet, powered by Raspberry Pi 4.

I 3D Printed My Own 9.1L Open-Frame ATX SFF PC Case

Supports ATX, mATX, uATX, DTX, mini-DTX, and mini-ITX.

All of my previous PC case designs have been for ITX, but with every design I have been asked if it can work with ATX/microATX. This was mostly due to the maximum print size on many printers, so I challenged myself to create a case almost anyone could print that would be compatible with all motherboards.

.32mm Layer Height
3 outer layers
3 top/bottom layers
20% infill (I used cubic infill)
No supports

Requires roughly 200x200x130mm build volume. If you wanted to go just ITX you could chop several of the pieces and get under 150mm, and if 130mm build height is an issue you can put the PSU parts on their side with supports.

ITX and DTX boards need two MB bars, all others need at least three. There is a center support beam slot if you want additional support.

PlayGo V2.2 Retro Handheld Review

While the ODROID Go Advance and RK2020 are ushering in a new wave of retro handhelds, there is still a large market for RG350 clones. But, unlike the New PocketGo V2 which was a new device designed to be compatible with the RG350, or the RG280M/RG350P which are modified versions of existing devices, the PlayGO V2.2 is seemingly just a rebadged PocketGo V2.1. Is there anything new in the “V2.2” device?

Supports NES, SNES, GB, GBA, Genesis/Mega Drive, Master System, Sega CD, Neo-Geo, Neo-Geo Pocket, FBA, MAME, DosBox, PlayStation, and Wonderswan.

RK2020 Retro Handheld Review

The RK2020 is the first in a new generation of retro handhelds. Whereas 2019 and early 2020 was dominated by the RG350 and handhelds that were based on the same chipset (think the PocketGo V2), this new generation is based around the ODROID Go Advance. It isn’t the original and doesn’t bring anything new to the table, but does the RK2020 have it where it counts?

Every once in awhile there comes a product that brings together the pinnacle of available technology. For retro gaming handhelds, that would be a great screen, great controls, great performance, and a great price. The Supbor Q400, on paper, seems to fit the bill. Is this the handheld to get in 2020? Razer Kishi Review: The Ultimate Retro Handheld?

The Razer Kishi is a new device, but what it does is nothing new. There have been many different ways to pair a controller with your phone to play games, but so far all have had similar issues. With products like the RG350 and PocketGO shaking up the industry and seemingly a new retro device every other week, is the Kishi the one to get?
